MINI w/wide white walls!
Finally had the need to replace the stock tires on my '03 (35,000 miles). Went with some white walls from American Classic. Found a dealer in Elizabethtown, PA (Universal Vintage Tires) 205/55 R16. Fit just fine, no rubbing. Wide whites may not be ideal for some, but I like the classic look. Now the only challenge is keeping them clean.

They are called American Classic Tires (for PT cruiser)
205/60R15 American Classic 2" White Wall
Price: $ 170.00 25.69" tire diameter
205/55R16 American Classic White Wall 1-9/16" White Wall
Price: $ 177.00 24.88" tire diameter
205/50R17 American Classic White Wall
Price: $ 188.00 25.12" tire diameter
They are a bit tall for the MINI but the 205/55-16 and 205/50-17 are usable with stock suspension.

Definitely needs to be lowered or something to pull off the look. White walls made a big comeback about a year ago...but didn't last too long. I think it could look good on your mini
There have been a good number of them....this one pulls it off well
You can get white walls to fit on any 15 or 16 inch tire and as long as you have enough sidewall, they aren't prone to damage. Makes finding them a bit easier.

It's part of the whole hot-rod look that was big for a while in the euro scene...not my thing, but i think some of them looked cool. I think the steelies made sense....but it would look better if they were widened steelies or something that wasn't so blatantly stock steelies.
These were only his temporary wheels anyways....i forget what he went to, but they are NICE
