here are my new wheels WHICH I LOVE!
16x7 et 40 rota slipstreams (just under 13lbs)
205/45R16 f1 gs-d3 (21 lbs according to tirerack)
stock suspension (one bit at a time )
note this was taken rite after the install so the suspension has since settled a bit

anybody have any details on those JCW's? The catalog says 'forged out of cast alloy'. Not sure which is advertising hyperbole or fact - are they forged or cast? Given the price, you'd think forged, but given the weight - cast.

I got the feeling that I will be the only car on the street without black wheels by the year 2008, seems like I'm the only one who can't get used to them, and the reason is I live in a cold wintery part of the world and we buy cheap black steel rims for our winter tires and can't wait to take them off when the winter is over but we have to live with black for 2/3 of the year.
As far as brake dust, I get more dust on my rear bumper than I get brake dust on my wheels and when I was the car, it goes away.
