[QUOTE=Wake|MCS;1410330]That price is just for paint. Just making sure you didn't mistake it for the price on the set of wheels lol. Cause those are like $1800/set..

i thought that was a pretty cheap!

The Hartge Classics are a 48 offset. If you are going to run 225/35/18 tires Hartge recommends a 5mm spacer so that you don't rub. PM me for more details if you would like.

Thanks for answering the Q's! :D

cheers

Those wheels are sick and the car looks nice. But, you need smaller tires and more of a drop IMO... Oh and the car needs to be washed ASAP...

The problem with real Volks is that you can't even afford a car wash after you pay for them!

thanks - tires are stock OD BTW. It has a Koni Sport kit, just installed. The IE camber plates apparently don't need all three washers stacked around the pillowballs, so I'll have to take those out. Hopefully, the front will settle a bit as well (the rear is a bit lower than stock).

I don't think it needs to be lowered. Do you see how there is basically NO gap in the rear? c'mon....just enjoy the goodness of those rims guys.

Haha, just my personal preference. What size tires are you running? 205/55 ? I would say 205/50 would look better IMHO. And yes, you could do with those tires but the drop is a must I think, especially the front. The wheels are HOT and theres no one denying it or taking that away from you. They are beautiful and they go really well with your car. I just like 0 wheel gap and opt for slightly short sidewalls. Sorry if I offended you. Car looks great as is, but could look better I think...

215/50/16 which match stock OD almost perfectly. As for the ride height, see my previous post. IE camber plates and brand spankin new suspension. We'll see how it settles...supposed to be 1"+ lower all around. For suspension performance, it shouldn't be any lower.

Hmm I take back the smaller tires. I wouldn't wanna put a dent/bend in those beautiful wheels lol. But yeah hopefully the front settles a bit more.

ride height is a part of the rims.... you could rock the most amazing rims in the world, but if you were riding at stock ride height, it just wouldnt be the same. You wouldnt lose any performance dropping the front a little more. Atleast make the front and rear even..The rears are nicely in the wheel wells....but the fronts have a good few inches of wheel gap.

Stance is very important.

lyle,

Don't powder coat your Breytons. Get another set of rims for that.
