I like the Michelin tires a lot... FAR better ride quality (reduced road noise and much smoother operation) and really improved wet traction compared to the previous two sets of tires I had, Dunlop SP Sport 9000 DSST and Pirelli Eufori run-flat tires. I've only had them on for a few months now, but I give them a huge
for anybody interested in purchasing new tires.

new shoes are finally on....in time for my road trip to Durango!!!! I ordered some custom certer cap sitckers from AE...just waiting for those and I will get some close ups...but initial first impressions of losing nearly 20lbs per corner from my S-heavies....WOW, response is sharp, car is quiet and smooth. Acceleration seems about the same, no real change, but the car "seems" to turn in quicker and feels lighter in the corners.

BTW, where did you buy those and how much? They're awesome...I really wouldn't mind some lighter wheels.

I got them from Alex at Tirerack.com. With my tire combination of 215-45-17, it was about $1100 shipped. They are almost out of stock on the Kosei K1 Racing, so if you want some like that, get on it, they will no longer be stocking them.

yup, et +45, they work with and without my 5mm spacers, no rubbing, front or rear. I am lowered on H-sport springs.

for increased side wall, less risk of damaging the rim with pot holes in the roads....and better ride comfort. It also fills up the wheel gap perfectly. I had 215/40/17 with my s-lytes, and that just rattled the car. The new set up is perfect. I don't care about them being taller, I actually like it, and the speedo change does not bother me either. A bunch of people here and other MINI groups run the 215/45/17 set up.

..i can't figure out why i like them so much! and damn if they don't look better on your car than they do on mine - what up with that
LOL - good choice though
