These wheels are Kinesis K28R's custom three piece forged rims. They're top quality and really expensive (up there with HRE's).

The K28R's have a reverse drop centre which creates a flat outer lip making the wheel diameter look larger than the standard version, also adding a little more weight. They are 18" x 8" and weigh 22lb compared to 20lb for the K28's.

Probably not the best choice for lightweight racing freaks but they more than make up for it in quality, strength and style...

Thanks everyone for the compliments! 2per was right - they are Konig Imagines (http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_p...ID=1&ss_id=214) in 18 x 7.5 and the tires are Dunlop FM-901s in 215/35-18.

M1N1GUN - you mentioned not caring a whole lot for chrome and I'm with you there - they aren't chrome! They're actually the opal (silver) and just have a very bright shine in the sun (not to mention I cleaned them while RSpeed was doing the install).

I was set on the Kazera KZ-S, and just debating back and forth on 17" or 18". When I saw the Konig's and heard the price (about 40% of retail), I just couldn't turn them down.

Centerline Excel's w/ Yoko 215/45's. Centerlines may soon be up for sale as I am seriously considering SSR Comps in Anthracite. It's a much more aggressive look.

Nice Centerlines! Looks a lot like GoDogGo's car! I looked for these wheels on the Centerline web site and couldn't find them.

Do you have any other pics of your Mini? I am contemplating this color combo myself.

Thanks,
Erik

Pure silver/pure silver pics

Here's another. Anyone know what the size limit is for pics? I thought it was 800x600 but I have shrunk pics even smaller and it is telling me I am over the size limit. Once I figure this out, erik99, I'll post more.

Three more. These are pretty small but I couldn't get them any bigger due to the message I kept receiving stating the pictures were too big. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Hope this helps.

I know it's a little hokey, but I really want these wheels (I have the same wheels in stock silver with runflats). I just LOVE chrome! It's so SHINY! Probably a bear to keep clean... *sigh*

I'm guessing that somebody has a chroming setup and is making some bucks on ebay. Wish I could afford to bid, but they've gone out of my price range for now...

If you want to bid, it ends 9/6/04 ---> Chrome 17" S-lites on Ebay. If you buy them, would you post a picture? I imagine they'd look really sweet...

Those may well be the heaviest 17" rims ever. I'm guessing 30 pounds each.

What is your tires size? Did you lower the car?

I did photoshop on my car to what I want to be, but I have some question for those who has Flik Wasp wheels.

I want 17x7 with 215/40. Is that some body has already been done? What spring should I get to close the gap between tires and body compleatly? What is the lowest spring on the market?

Has anyone put a set on a LY/W MCS yet? If so, any pics? Just curious how it looks outside of the tire rack website.

thanks!
