These are the wheels we put on our new 2009 JCW. They are different than what we were thinking we were getting when ordered but are growing on us the longer we keep them. They look good on the white car.

They're polished, with anthracite "accents" (basically every surface that's not spokes or lip. Good for not showing brake dust.) They're good wheels.

They used to be made by axis wheels but they've been discontinued now. They were called the AXIS TC EVO. You can search around and see if any wheel companies still have them in stock.

They came in all sorts of colors and interchangeable lips

Well, after expressing much "Bally who" about how I didn't like "all Black" wheels on a Pepper white mini (with black arches), I decided to powder coat my Konig Feathers flat black
Konig doesn't offer the 16 inch feathers in "charcoal" (flat black), They only offer the flat black in their 15 and 17 inch wheel. My wheels were originally "Matte silver" as shown in the picture below. I really liked the matte silver (still do) but, my daily driver wheels are a "matte black" with a brushed aluminum lip and I really love the way they look on the car. The sliver wheels just didn't go with the look of my car (IMOP) !

I'm really pleased on how they came out and I think they complement the full black out treatment I have done on Boo !

How much weight did the powder coating add?

Well, I know the powder coaters use a chemical treatment and sand blast the wheels to remove the original paint before applying the powder coating, so I don't think it adds any weight to them !

Thanks kenchan,
I think I made the right choice to powder coat them ! They really add to the look of Boo. I just don't think the silver worked as well ! I'm finally going to get a chance to wash Boo tomorrow and get some better pictures of the wheels.
