Yeah...until recently, I had the same opinion. I'm basically looking for top end 18x7.5's. I would do NEEZ but just too damn expensive. So been kicking around other ideas like Advans RZ and these Volks...maybe some Work? I dunno....

Well, they're really "flashy", I'll say that much. I'd say go with a set of multi-spoke, blacked-out wheels like the Konig feather... I think it'll match with your trim a lot better (by the way, nice job on your cooper... i like it... a lot ).....

BUT, at the end of the day, its YOUR car, so do whatever you want with it

you at stock height? I wouldn't go with a wheel that big at stock height. Even that Koni mini has waaay too much ground clearance.

Seriously though, if you listen to what people say on here, everyone's car will have the same wheels. They're not half bad. Not my style, but if that's the look you're going for, do it.

Here's a closer shot of a set of Feathers in a 16 inch !

Zedaristo, this might give you an idea of how they'll look once you get your coilovers !

thanks,
They are Konig Runnaway's in "Shadow Black" coloring ...they are a very dark annodized metallic on the front and solid black on the insides. ..they are mounted on Yokohama Parada Spec II's.

I spent months and months looking for the right wheel (and scouring this as well as other forums). I've found no one else who has these exact wheels (part of the reason why I love them)!! I had to special order them as Konig doesn't import a lot of this wheel model. Yet doing a google search I quickly found some carriers ...maybe they are becoming more popular? I've had mine for 8 months.

http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...eed#prodAnchor

Wheels/Tires and new tire sensors mounted, shipped was only about $1400 total.

so far I love 'em. No complaints.

Those are actually really nice. I've been also picky and looking for something close to the R99 wheel...I only came up with Team Dynamics Motorsports, Enkei RPF1s, and those Runaways. But I didn't have any good pics of the Runaways on the MINI. Do you have anymore pics?

I do, look at my gallery ...yet here is another good shot ...you can see how the fronts are metallic and the insides are solid black. ...mind you the lighting in my garage is making the fronts a bit more shinnier than they really are ...they are usually a dull metallic (not too flashy).

if you do decide to go w/ them let me know and/or send me a PM ...i'll give you the hub ring sizes to get. I had to order my wheels first then measure w/ a caliper. I also got some black lugs to match the wheels (I think silver lugs would look bad). Glad you like them! -hope you get some!!

What's a hub ring? I just recently learned somewhat what a offset is...but what's a hub ring? is it the same as a wheel spacer? whatever that is...
