Heh.
You certainly can steer, though. There's no contact on the front and back of the fender liner, and I can do U-turns without any rubbing.
There IS contact at the very edge of the plastic fender arches, when the suspension compresses. It seems to be lessening as the tires slowly grind away little bits of the plastic. At factory height it would be less of an issue.

Sweet. Those look great with the white roof and mirror caps.
I'm thinking of going with a similar wheel on my CR JustaCooper when my current set of tires need to be replaced. Already have low-dust pads on that MINI. So thanks for the pics of what they would look like.

No doubt!
Take a couple inches out of that gap, and this R56 will be pretty much perfect, IMO.

I love the factory Aero kit rear bumper...

... it looks so much nicer(and cleaner) than the stock or JCW ones. Nice ride, man!

17x7 sportmax 962 wearing Kumho ecsta AST 205/45/17
and yes it is getting lowered. Seems to be a lot more wheel gap with 17's on it then with 16's

Very nice! I'm not one for white but that looks very nice. It can't be a daily driver....can it ?
One speck and it would drive me nutty.
Wow, I may do my front end trim in my body color.

It is my daily driver, and my wife and I are temporarily living with my parents who have a half mile long gravel driveway :(
