I like white wheels, I like my 16s in gunmetal. I like my silver Challenge wheels.

White looks good with DS, CR and many others, just not for me.

Picture of my R56 with the 16s in GM.

Another with the Challenge wheels.

Each have their own purpose.

Now back to pictures of wheels, please!

rims were originally white. IMO, white rims don't really match black roofs so i had it painted magnesium blue which was the color of my previous set of rims below

Nice wheels everyone... Do those Panda's fit on the R56, I could do that for a couple of our fall MINI5280 drives.

I'll match your panda's and raise you a set of daisies!
These would look so sweet on a liquid yellow MC!

Yup, in 18's. I have another identical set (except in 17's) that weigh 14.2 lbs each.

Here's a better view.

I never said anyone made a poor wheel choice.

Someone was looking opinions on rims, voiced a concern about a particular rim because it was white, and I mentioned that it comes in other colors and that I'm not a fan of white wheels. I'm not debating your choice of wheel, I'm merely giving my opinion to the person who asked for it. If that sounds foolish to you, then great, that's your opinion. I'm merely giving mine.

And to the person who asked about putting 18's on a MINI, I think they go great on an R56 as long as it is lowered, but they're a bit too big on R53s.

Hey Alex... maybe you should have told me before I bought those white wheels from your company that I should have better things to do with my time than clean my wheels constantly.

Damn you !!!!

Damn you !!!!

the nice thing about inexpensive wheels is that they're easily replaced when they stop looking nice

After many days, I got tired of hearing my wife telling me to just buy something. So I ordered the 17" Koing Feathers (silver) instead of the Bumps. I liked the clean, sporty look. The 17% off sale this weekend at Alta was too good to pass up. I will post a picture when I get them on.

Alex,

Is there any benefit to you or I by ordering from you as opposed to me ordering a set of tires from a supplier that is buying them directly from Tire Rack?

A company I deal with very frequently always sells me my tires at their cost. If YOU get some sort of bonus or something, then I'd order them from you. If it doesn't matter, I'll just order them locally.

Thanks,

Mark

I have been playing with the idea of anodizing my wheels for awhile now. From my understanding silver and black are the most common and most durable colors, but a large variety of colors are available. It's on par with chroming price wise I think, maybe slightly less expensive.
