Show me your WHEELS!

Not my first, second, or third choice. But I was on a strict budget, and had to choose economy. That being said, I'm very pleased with the look, not to mention the decrease in unsprung weight from the stock S-lites.

Looks good. But those calipers are now screaming to be painted.

From what I can see of those, they look good (although people said I was nuts for buying my white wheels, those look twice as hard to clean).
Have a pic taken at a better angle to see those wheels ?

I hope you're running some low-dust pads on that MINI.
I've found with my Hawk ceramics and my white wheels, if I go over them with some QD spray and a microfiber towel mid-week and then give the MINI it's normal weekend wash, I can keep the wheels looking great. They'll have a very small amt of dust between cleaning but it's only noticeable from within about 3 feet.
Nice looking wheels, match your MINI very well !

Thanks for the comments, all.
The wheel (in post #7702) is the Sport Tuning Turbine, in 17". I purchased them (along with Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grids) from the Tire Rack, where they were on closeout at $99 per. Also, they weigh in at 19.5 lbs.

Actually, nothing! I was on the way back from Niagara Falls with my gf. She was sleeping and I was coasting at about 70mph. All of a sudden it felt like I've gotten a flat. Which would be a big bummer because my BFG's aren't run flat - but while I was trying to get to the shoulder I saw my wheel traveling along side of my car. It crossed a median and struck a north bound vehicle.
We only found two studs, one was snapped and the other one was bent. But being that these were after market wheel and I put them on - of course I got blamed for the incident. Tire rack got me 50% off (Overnighted a wheel to the mini dealer) and 2000 dollars later I was on the way home from my surprise getaway to NY....
ohh and that hole, I suspect, is there because the rotor hit the wheel. I have no other explanation.

I put some SR-Racing SR-8 18" with Dunlop low-pro DSSTs on and she looks good.
Finally ordered my Aero Kit and a couple of other things for her so when I get back from Iraq she is getting all fixed up, prim and proper!

If you use low dust ceramic brake pads, it's not necessary to clean white wheels as often as you might think. It's more of a problem when it rains.
