Just 18's but I'd prefer 17's, but i couldnt pass these up. $125 for all for wheels, and tires, and they're not reps

Of course they look good! They're BBS LM's if they're real (no centercaps, can't tell). If not they're probably Rotas or something generic.

new wheels and tires for Rippy

After debating which to get for a long time, saw Altuu's post on his konigs and liked the shape immediately.

Ordered them in opal/polished from Discount Tire in 18x7.5, 45 et and got the new Ventus Evo in 215-40-18. This is the tire that was second only to the Dunlop star spec in the C&D test. Weight is exactly the same as the flame spokes with RFs. I like the spokes as they are sorta like the Black Jack sunroof thing and the color goes great with the car. Now I have to do the brake rotor hats and calipers, or persuade the spousal unit that I should do the JCW factory Brembo upgrade.
I also like the way the spokes sit inboard of the polished lip.
Cheers
Fig

Just had these installed last week. Hard trying to find a proper wheel to match a GP with all the colors on car. But, these wheels from Konig seem to work well.

Those wheels look awesome on the GP the red trim makes it look factory, much better than the stock GP wheels IMO

The GP wheels are stay put for now. Pittsburgh area just isnt very nice to rims, especially after winter.

Thanks for the kudos on the rim choice! I'm not much into the shiny pieces on most cars. But, looking at everyone elses rides here gives me an itching to get another MINI to personalize a little more thourghly.
Seeing everyones car's here and at club events makes me really enjoy the MINI community!

Your car and I have the same name; my car isn't named Rippy, but my nickname is.
How did you come to the name Rippy?

Just seemed to fit the little car, ripping through traffic, ripping around corners; kinda like a little kid is "rippy" when he's bouncing off the walls.
