Sorry, I just assumed someone with TSW's wouldn't be complaining about the popular, high quality brock wheels. Those things are classics. My bad.

How are your roads there???
#8811
Probably much like yours. We're both in the northeast/midwest as well. Ohio and Indiana. We see the same tough winters, cratered roads, and car-eating potholes.

@ gmodder....
I'm new to the forums so cut me some slack. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions on wheel/car combinations. Stance@design I really appreciate the info you've provided...thank you. I do like the deep dish wheels that give cars a "tough" look. You should spend a little time browsing the e30, 3 series' car galleries found on www.e30.de I think you will find a few BMW's w/ some seriously nice wheels....even you could like.

Keeping it simple. Gone through the days of modding a daily driver and low profile rubber and, and, and, and....
flat black powdercoated stockers. They should be flat at least, except for the guys at the dealer wash sprayed them down with shiny juice. I'm ecstatic with the fitment and overall appearance. I had a '72 Ghia as a kid, and I always wanted to paint my wheels either black or battleship grey. That was before I was aware of any sort of trends towards those colors, so I'm content to finally have my euro car with black wheels![Smilie](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Here are my JCW wheels I got a couple of weeks ago. I love the look with these wheels and they look even better now that got the windows tinted. I will post some pictures when the weather gets nice enough to get it properly cleaned up again.
I am also looking at wheel spacers in either 10mm or 15mm to widen the stance just a bit.

Yes they are the 17 inch Breyton's and the tires I have are the 215/45 Yokohama S Drives with stock suspension. I did come from stock 16 run flats and the ride is a lot smoother and so far I am very happy with the grip of the tires and the way the car handles I'm sure I'll have a stronger opinion in a few thousand miles but so far I'm happy with them.

Appreciate the response.
Do the taller tires really affect the gearing, or do you not notice a difference? Have been reading about the gearing change, but is it really that noticeable? Any rubbing issues? I am stuck between the Enkei RPF1s or the Breytons with 215/45s. Still wondering if the weight savings with the Enkeis will negatively affect the ride on daily commutes, as far as small bumps go...... Thanks again.

I'm no expert when it comes to wheels so I'm not sure about weight and ride quality of daily commutes with the Enkei's. However the Breyton's are a lot lighter than the stock wheels and the tires are a lot lighter than the run flats and my ride got a lot better. I was beginning to get a slight rattle in the boot and it has basically gone away since I switched my wheels out.
I hope this helps
