Yeah, some folks have the luxury of rolling their MINI's off a trailer when attending meets or shows - must be nice... ![Grin](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/grin.gif)
Flawless paint, not a single speck, no road grit sandblast pock marks, no bug splatters or fingerprints on them at all. Interior flawless. Fenderwells so clean, the cars look like they've been in bubblewrap since the factory rolled them off... Windows tinted so dark, you have to roll the windows down to make turns...
Yeah...when I grow up, I'm going to get an R56 and run a staggered set of 19's... Get some coilovers or figure out how to sit it on a set of Goodyear airbags or something.....
But first I have to get a trailer......... and a tow vehicle.... and a shop so I can have ample workspace and parking space..... and I'll have to move out of NY to find some roads that do not have that "lunar surface look"....

Alright, I know the BBS RKs are a slightly old-school rim, but I love them too much. I had a set on my old '02 MCS, and only two survived after it was totaled. Ever since I bought this '06 MCS in December 2009, I have occasionally conducted a blind Internet search. Most listings were in forums. Whenever a used set came up for sale, they would sell fairly quickly in the $600-700 range.
It had been some time since I looked. Taxes were done, return was on its way. So, Sunday a week ago, I decided to do another search. I could not believe it! I found a set from a Honda guy in Florida. He had them since early December, and no one had bought them. I immediately contacted him. The rest is history. Paid $1K, and they are brand new.![Smilie](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

rally said, "Yup. Stretched tires aren't good for street racing or actual track racing. No one will contest that fact. It's just that many of us aren't interested in performance driving or potentially attending one or two HPDE's each year.
Same reason you don't see track cars winning car shows or looking particularly good. Different strokes for different folks.
"
i love you man. you crack me up!

You know I love you too, Sam
(As long as you're willing to wait for me and my slow, stretched justacooper in the canyons
)

they're made to fit stock even on my '04. some minor rubbing on bumps with load but i think something else is going on because it usually happens only on right rear.

I assume you're talking about me? I'm new to posting here. Is that some kind of forum faux pas or something? Didn't mean to offend your bandwidth...
