That was Autobahn Country Club in Joliet. Windy City BMW club put on the event. Check out their website. Also, there's been some discussion on this forum in the Chicago MINI Motoring Club section about track events this year!

 

Picked up some OZ superturismos in black the other day to run as my winter wheels. Not got round to fitting them properly yet but here is a 'test fit'

For my winter set up i went with my stock r84 satin red.

I'm pretty set on getting some OZ's for my JCW Coupe. In fact it's the same color scheme as yours. I'm looking to go with black but I can't decide between the ultraleggera or the alleggerita hlt's. Your pictures are making the decision for me! Great looking Mini you have!

 

Got a set of Breyton GTS-R's from the Tire Rack the other day. Getting them along with a new set of tires mounted on the MINI on Thursday.

 

...those are very sexy!

may I ask...why didn't you order them with tires mounted? ..could have had them on the car today...for our viewing pleasure.

Don't mind you asking at all.

I originally ordered a set of Rotiform NUE's back in early December. In the meantime, while waiting, I ordered the tires from The Tire Rack. I found out recently the Rotiforms would not ship until the end of February at the earliest. I didn't want to wait and canceled the order and ordered the Breytons from Tire Rack.Now you know the rest of the story.

But looking forward to sharing pics with ya'll later this week.

...any other pics/angles without b&w/color adjustment..

..you don't like the center caps?...lol, I've got a set of drags that I modified the silly centercap to sit flush instead of sticking out so far!
