Yea, good point. What do you think about powder-coating my stock rims in black?
I think it would look good. Why not plastidip 2 to see how the black looks. If you like it then powder coat it (if you want the gloss look) or just leave the plastidip on.

Or even better, try Plasti-Dip it on just one side. Then you can compare side to side first!
Most of the time PC work costs $250-$400 per set of wheels. For that kind of money you could put it towards some aftermarket wheels. The stock wheels are HEAVY, have crappy offsets and lack notable width.
I would do whatever you can to get off stock wheels. Plus outside a select 2 stock wheels, the rest are pretty unattractive.
You're absolutely sure these are rotating in the correct direction?
Looks backward to me.
Cheers... M

They can look weird if you stare at 'em.
I don't think those are directional wheels. I know there are some of the slanted spoke wheels that are directional but I don't think the enkei's are (assuming you guys are referring to the wheels not the tires since the tread is tough to see and from what I can see looks as if they're going the right way).

The tires are directional and on correct. The wheels are not directional as you state xstart. If you look at the wheels long enough they are almost like an illusion.
FYI. I've got a spare as well that's is set up with a passenger side directional tire as well which I was concerned about but talked with tirerack and after some research even a directional tire can be used on the opposite side of the vehicle without danger. It's just better than no spare at all.
PS - still waiting on my Megan's also.
First try with Bronze PlastiDip Metallizer.. loving the look, I didn't do such a great job applying though.. I'll have to do it again some day, at least these are just my auto-x fronts, if I ever go with my DD set, I'll definitely have them powdercoated..
coops808 - good luck! Wheels are almost TOO much fun to play with...
i know what you mean. i maybe have had my current set of wheels for almost a year and i already want to change. not because i dont like my wheels, i love them, i just want variety
