Apologies in advance for baaaaaaaaaaaad pix........

Rota Slipstreams - 16x7 et40 w/ 205/45-16 TR1s - I actually weighed each tire/wheel before mounting them - just a hair under 31.5 lbs per.

Personally, i think your current wheels look a hell of a lot better and more ... well .. subtle ... as well as agressive

took a little step backwards ... ditched my Flik Wasps as they were ... well ... let's just say not suitable for rough NYC roads ... and went with S lites on the MC ... gained a little weight, but they sure feel more strong.

lowered on H&R springs on stock S-lites soon after I bought the car:

then came 15X6.5 Rota Circuit 8s with 205/50 Yoko AVSs

then some Rota Attack in Royal black w/polished lip found their way on the car (same sizes as the Circuit 8 setup)

and then I swapped the Attacks out for some 5-star alloys, this is how the car sits currently (ignore hastily applied wax on the doors )

hehe ... so you went with MC wheels on an MCS ... cool ... I really used to like your Circuit 8's on that BRG ... looked ace.

I just got tired of searching for new aftermarket wheels and all the good ones are pricey ... not playing that game anymore. I love the S lites on my MC ...

Pics of Red 5 in my gallery

Many photos of my '05 MC in my gallery. Both pre and post bonnet stripes. There's even a photo of me standing next to Red 5. I am 6'2" and look HUGE standing next to my MINI. I add new photos regularly.
In October I am getting graphics applied to the roof, bonnet and sides.

Will,
Are you wearing socks and loafers with shorts while standing next to a cool car?

Ace Arius (18lbs) with Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S (21.5lbs 215/45/17) on M7 springs with Alta rear bar and lower control arms. The pics don't do it justice, it was getting dark and the flash was used. At least she's clean, as evidenced by the rusty rotors...

Thanks, I ordered them from WheelMax.

Be warned... they don't use a standard valve stem. It's a smaller diameter metal valve. Which of course the local tire shop (here anyway) didn't carry so they couldn't replace it when they broke one while installing... don't get me started

Hey all, here are my flik wheels, I think the dark gunmetal with the dark silver look really good together, also notice the painted calipers, I think it's a nice touch...

I know me and the wife have a lot of silver, but it just looks the best to me...never really looks that dirty, I used to have a black car and keeping it clean was a nightmare. Actually with the mini, we were trying to find a blue one, but the only one that had what we were looking for was the silver, so silver it is...again...
