Am considering purchasing used 15" wheels and new winter tires for wife's 07 R56 Cooper. Tire rack has alloy wheels for $99. I will most likely buy the winter tires from them. Does anybody think I can do better than the $99 per wheel on the used market? Do dealers dump 15" wheels when new car purchases upgrade after devivery?

 

Check with your local MINI or Honda auto clubs and see if anyone is moving to a warmer climate and wants to sell their winter tires/wheels.

Or go to your usual newspaper sources for used winter wheels.

Of course there can be a better deal out there but not sure when it will be sold and not sure of the exact fitment for your MINI.

Ebay is also possible as a source.

Note that 2007 MINI will have 14mm bolts which are not always something that will work with all wheels.
