LOL Thanks guys. This whats on my wifes mini, and I'm buying some tires that are lighter, and look better then the big balloon of a tire thats on there.
I got some 205-50-16 falken zeix 512. Worked out good for me in the past, so i figured i stay with what works. i think she'll enjoy the ride better with these tires.

205/50-16 is good tire size for that stock rim- it's not a bad rim.

For Falken another good tire is the replacement for the Ze-512 which is
The Ziex Ze-912 $78 each 360 treadwear V speed rated 21.6 lbs

Balloons? I have 60 series tires, and they complement the rims and keep the car proportional. Anything bigger than 16inch looks silly.

Well, As far as the wife, she doesn't care too much about performance. She's just complaining about how much noise the oem tires creates (partly due to wear and age). From personal experiance, I know the falkens are pretty quiet, and handle wet (standing water) very well. And the fact that they were only 300 shipped, how can i pass...
I have the rt-615 on my car.....but are waering fast, so i went ahead and bought a set for myself. rt-615's suck in the wet. Handles 300fwhp pretty well, but even with the rt-615's, traction is still an issue...FWD FTL Wet, you can forget getting into boost all together
