MINI Wheel Info / Pics?

Does anyone know the weight of this Mini wheel?

Also, does anyone have pics of what the wheel looks like with a larger tire like 195/60-15 or 205/55-15?

Any info and pics would be appreciated.

Thanks!

For the MINI the lightest OEM rims are stock 15".

The all time lightest is the
R81 7-hole (Holey) ET45 12.0lb (5.45kg)

Then others are:
R96 Delta-spoke ET45 13.7lb (6.2kg)
R100 5-spoke Spooler ET45 13.7lb (6.2kg)
R82 8-spoke (aka Silverstone) ET45 15.2lb (6.9kg)
R101 Rotator-spoke ET45 15.7lb (7.1kg)

Man, I'd like a set of those Holeys...that's a significant reduction rolling mass. I am hot on the trail of some 195/60-15 tires and was kinda wonderng about extra weight, etc.

Thanks!

15" stock holeys are good. They won't fit over JCW brakes or the new R56 MCS brakes but stock brakes on the other MINIs they do fit.

12 pounds is plenty light but the 5.5" width is a bit narrow. Even 6" would have been better.

Many tire sizes do fit from 175/65-15 up to 205/55-15. Just try to keep the outer tire diameter close but not more than 24.4" for best speedo accuracy.

Nothing wrong with 185/65-15 or 195/60-15. If you are commuting then the narrow tires work well. If you have light snow and All Season tires the narrow tires are best. If you like to corner hard the 195 to 205mm wide tires work well. Tire weights are usually lower for 15" tires.

Holeys do well with either MC or MCS or cabrios.

If you search on ebay you can find Holeys and if you can't then aftermarket 15x7 rims will work very well too. Usually not hard to find at 12 lbs or less per rim.

I love holies! I'm going to see if they fit over wilwoods with 5mm spacers this weekend. Fingers crossed.
