steel wheels for R56?

Has anyone been able to source cheap steel wheels for the R56? My old 15" steel wheels from my R50 (2003 Cooper) rub on the front brake caliper.

Tirerack doesn't list any steel wheels for the R56.

Bavarian Autosport also comes up blank.

Yes, alloys are available, but I'm looking for cheap steel wheels.

That link is no good... how do you find steel wheels on discount tire's site? I can only find alloy wheels.

I re-did a search for 15" wheels/4-100 lug/wheel width-Any

Here is a screenshot of the search and the 2 top results:

Hmmm... it works today. It didn't work yesterday. It would ask me for a zip code and then go to the front page before.

And those are 15" wheels, so I'm pretty sure they won't work. My old 15" steel wheels don't clear the front brake calipers.

Most 4-100 steel wont accomodate the 14mm bolts, thats why we dont list them, and we had steel custom made for R53 cars.

MINI Canada sells 15" winter wheel already for the R56 MINI both 16" and 15".

you can get part numbers by calling a canadain dealer and i am sure your american one can get you them.

There is a PDF of the wheels and hubcaps offered on the www.mini.ca website.

15' Steel wheels

I have a set of 4 - 15" steel wheels that came off my 2004 MCS. They were used 2-3 winters, therefore show a little wear... nicks, scuffs, a little bit of rusty spots here and there. They work just fine. They came with the car and I replaced them with alloys. I'll let them go for a very reasonable price (plus shipping) make an offer.

I also have a set of 15" wheels from my 2003 Cooper. They do not fit on a 2007 MCS. The front brakes are bigger and the wheels rub on the brake caliper in front.

Have you really fit these on a 2007 MCS? Like I said, my steel wheels from my 2003 Cooper do not fit my 2007 MCS.
