Oh boy!
I didn't know tire/wheel discussions could get this heated! lol
I have read everything you guys have said and I still haven't made up my mind!
I was set on getting the 215-35-18 size tires, but then I thought what a great idea the 215-40-18's would be. But unfortunately the tires I spent so much time researching on and deciding on (General Exclaim UHP) doesn't have that size. The two options are either 215-35-18 or 225-40-18.
Does anyone think a 225-40-18 tire would fit on a MC with OEM suspension without rubbing and such? Or should i just stick to the 215-25-18 (again, on OEM suspension)?

It'll fit but you can forget about lowering the car, EVER. lol. Honestly just go with a different tire that has the 215/40/18. There are a lot of tires out that offer decent performance at an affordable price. Check out EdgeRacing they often have very competitive prices.
What do you guys think?
Option 1: Get the 215-35-18 like I originally planned but live with the huge wheel gap.
Option 2: Get 225-40-18s and not have to worry about dropping the car.
Remember, this is my g/f's car, so I can't really make her want to drop the car..... unfortunately.

FlzRider, in Miami a friend of mine owns a shop, Absolute Motoring. That's where I did all my work. Unfortunately, tires are just one of those things you don't get good price cuts on, so I can't help you there. I'd do 215/35/18 in that case cause I think the sidewall on the 225/40/18 would look too big.
Once you put the wheels on there, your g/f is going to say, "Is there any way to get rid of that wheel gap?"
BTW, are those the AC Schnitzer front splitter add-ons on your 330Ci P.P. ?

Haha, $85 is extremely cheap for 18s.

The splitters on my car are actually OEM Clubsport splitters. And it's not actually a perf. pack. car, just a regular one made to look like it (full mtech2 kit).
If i can assure myself that there will be no rubbing w/passengers or heavy loads, i think i will go with the 225-40-18s just because it will give my g/f a little extra room to play with on curbs and such lol. You think they will fit ok?

Yep, 85 is great, and the General's really are a good tire too. An amazing tire for the price.

225/40/18 should fit ok, but I couldn't tell you for sure. Comparing to my wheel/tire setup, the sidewall will be about 0.5" thicker. You'll have about 0.1" less clearance on the fender side and 0.3" less clearance strut side. On my car that tire size would almost certainly rub with I'd say 3 people in the car. Judging by the fact that your g/f's car is about 1 inch higher, I think you'll be safe.
