Anything will be a better ride than runflats. What Michelin tire are you getting? Alex at Tire Rack may have better info on Michelin tires.

Also went to Michelin Non-run flats
I did something similar with my '05 MCC. I replaced the GY RF's with Michelin Pilot HX MXM-4 in 205/55/16. They handle better and ride smoother while still having enough stiffness in the sidewall. I went up one size to 205's for better handling, ride and appearance and they fit fine with no issues. Attached thumbnails are my MCC with the Michelin's. Good luck

Non-runflats will make a big difference, unless you get MAXIMUM performance summer tires such as Falken Azenis RT-615. I have those in the garage waiting patiently for the spring. The sidewalls on those are ridiculous! I can't wait!
Good luck with the new tires. Hope they smooth out your ride.

We just got our 08 MS and have the 16" runflats. We want a smoother ride;195 55R 16 87V is on there and ordered equalivant size and type tire in Micholin tires. Will these tires give us the good performance and smoother ride.
Michelien Primacy HP ZP ? If so what speed rating
or
Michelien Pilot Primacy?
