I came incredibly close to ordering my lips from them. Had the order in to have some custom made until I found an amazing deal on some of the strong schmidt lips. They definitely know their stuff, and they're really easy to deal with when it comes to custom orders.

Just found these. Never heard of them before. Also by Rays. Not my style, but they are very light weight for 18x7.5", 7.7kg or 16.98 lbs

Ro_Ja? Aren't these wheels forged rims with cast centers, and aren't they heavy?

I think this wheel would look great on my blue MINI, any experience with them? Best prices? Whats the tallest, widest tire I will be able to run ,stock suspension?

These are just hot! I love Forgeline. I did not see these though.
Man if I wanted to drop $3000+ on wheels I would go for it

I really like Rays/Volks wheels. I'm a Honda guy and I'm going on my 3rd set for my ITR. For my wife's MINI I've been eyeing HRE, BBS or Hamann. I'd love to get a set of Schmidt's(I gotz dub-love) but I don't think the wife would dig the design. I think the MINI should keep it's "euro" look with a set of "euro" wheels .

I've been thinking about some 18's to potentially replace my Volks. Tops on my list right now are the Advan AVS T7, Work Emotion XT7, and the Gram Lights 57s Pro....

I know they are all quality rims, but does anyone know if you can definitively get them as forged?

Nevermind...I just realized that neither the advans nor the gram lights are offered in 18" :(

i placed my order for two sets of Kodiaks a couple of weeks ago. i went with a new, lighter, stronger design that isn't on their site. i went w/ black anodi ed centers and polished lips. pic will be posted when i have them. i think that i'll put my standard 225/40/17 Hoosier R6's on one set and some Hankook F2000's on the other. then i can put a set of R888's at full tread on my SSR's as intermediates. love my HRE's on the street, but they would suck as a track wheel.....too heavy, too big (although still light for a forged 18" wheel).

I just bought a set of BBS RG-F for my R56. Not installed yet but will get to it this weeken d. Expensive, yes. But they weigh only 12.7 lbs each a far cry from the 22 lbs of the OEM wheels, crown spokes.

Dang 12.7 lbs! Personally, I'm a fan of BBS and have LM's on my Boxster track car and they have proved to be super strong after 3 years and thousands of miles of track time.

BTW, take any rating from the BBB with a huge grain of salt.

Sorry, I don't understand BBB. What does that mean? I'm a retired Fed employee and dealt with thousands of acronyms over 35 years of service but BBB wasn't one of them unless you mean Better Business Bureau. I'm itching for a Cayman but it's out of the budget.

BBB = Better Business Bureau. I've had dealings with them and, ironically, I don't trust them as a business and have heard the same from others who have dealt with them as a business.

Sorry to be OT.
