Michelin Pilot Exalto PE@ vs. Dunlop SP Sport Maxx???

Michelin Pilot Exalto PE@ vs. Dunlop SP Sport Maxx???

This Spring, I'm planning on getting a set of 205/45 X 17 summer performance tires for my 2008 MCS with JCW engine and aero body kits, and I've narrowed my choice down to the UHP Michelin PE2's and the Max. Perf. Dunlop Sport Maxx's.

Which of those two tires do you believe would be better for spirited street and road (but not track or autocross) driving?

What are the pros and cons of each?

Same weight, same price, same treadwear rating.
The wet grip numbers look a little higher on the Michelins, and the dry and cornering response is a little higher for the Dunlop, but remember this is
comparing a Max performance tire to an UHP tire, so the numbers are
apples and oranges to some extent.
