Lug Nut Question

Sorry I have searched and read a bunch of threads and I am more confused now than when I started.
My question is I have a 02' non S and I purchased some Motegi RT5's can someone please tell me what lugs I need. The wheels are 17x7 et42. I called American Racing and he said that I can use stock.(obviously he is incorrect)And do I need hubcentering rings?

Thanks I really need the help!!!

You can use the stock lug bolts. They will work fine, but they are not very nice looking. Unless the centerbore is 56.1mm, then you do need hub rings. They should be able to provide them for you.

If the Motegi wheel is double drilled with two bolt patterns, then you may need a tuner style lug bolt. You are also going to need hub rings for these wheels. Call Motegi or the place you purchased them and find out the wheels hub bore size so you can get the correct hub ring.

Thanks Leo, They do have two bolt patterns. If I call them to get the bore size, is it possible that you may have these items in stock? And maybe get them overnighted?

You can get plastic caps that cover your lug nuts or lug bolts. They just snap on and come with a little removal tool. The type I got come in black or chrome. Try E-Bay or Bavarian Auto http://www.bavauto.com where I bought mine.

We definately have them in stock and we can over night them if needed. The center ring size should be a 56.1 and not 57.1. We have center rings available in aluminum or plastic.
