Team Dynamics or Konig

I have narrowed down my choice for wheels to the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 or the Konig Feathers, both in flat black. I can go either way based on looks. The Konigs are a little less cost. Any opinions on quality difference between these? Any factual information on quality of finish, or how they hold up over time? Any and all opinions are welcome. I'm going to spend my money in about 2 weeks (so I can drive to AMVIV on the new wheels ).

well the price difference was huge for me. I ended up getting a set of 17" feathers in black wrapped in Nittos for $725 shipped from Discount Tire direct. They did a price match for a set I found online and I had a $25 off coupon code then they gave me 50 off because they shipped them to the wrong zip code so I had to go pick them up (10 mile drive)

i have the TD with the falken azenis...nice combination. I dont track or race my car, just wanted some good looks and a little less weight than the s-lites. I have had my car in NYC for around six months and they have held up fine. If you know anything about nyc roads that's a testament to durability. I bought my wheels from east coast tires in NC, i forgot what i paid for them now..its been over a year now but i think between the wheels and tires it was a little less than a thousand. Hope this helps

i was in a similar position you are in and ended up going for the Konig due to price and TPMS compatibility. If only the Feathers came wider as i have heard the R56 can run 235s!!

Question - where you get the price on the cheaper set to get the discount from discount tires direct?

Right now, "out the door" price is $992 for 17" Konig Feathers, Nitto NT NeoGen ZRs (215/45/17), and their $70 set of lug nuts.

Thanks

they did a price match for me then I had a $25 off gift code and then they messed up my shipping and gave me another 50 off. Right now they are giving 100 off. Dont buy their lug nuts unless you want chrome lugs on black rims. Use OEM. Call them up for the best price.

Yes, that is what I want to know: who were they "matching"? I can't find a cheaper price for them to match....

Thanks

Feathers! Great price too ($130 at my local rice shop). Teamed up with 215x45x17 Nitto Neogens (for a total of $912 mounted and balanced) I dropped 8.5 pounds per corner in unsprung weight which is huge..You don't need the "lug package". Stockers work fine..
