I see Rota Torques on the rotawheels.com website in steel gray. Is this the same as your hyper black?

No. Steel gray is a different color than Hyper Black.

Steel gray is a regular color -- medium metallic gray. Hyper Black is a special refractive color that looks like this:

Dan, can you get the 16" RB's with the gold center and polished lip? And if so, what could I expect in terms of lead time? Oh, and would the price be the same as the other colors?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dan, I appreciate the update even if it isn't good news. Do you happen to know if it's just a production issue and the gold will be available again later, or is it gone for good? I'll admit, I kind of had my heart set on it!

Gold is a special order color and I wouldn't expect it any time soon. Get about four people together who want a set, and we could set up an order...

I've been searching around for some nice wheels for my '07 R56 Sparkling Silver. You see very few pics of some nice wheels with that color. I've been toying with either gunmetal or bronze (lighter bronze) since the SS has a kahki color to it.any suggestions or pics?

I believe you are referring to what we call MC. The Cooper D has the same bodywork as the other MINI models. So yes, it will fit.

Here's a Clubbie in Sparkling Silver, with Gunmetal 16" Rota RB.

I say no, it won't rub. I'm sure, because that's my car, above.

Okay, I'm going to need more information. You mentioned your 16" tires. Assuming you want to re-use those, you'll need a 16" wheel. Of which I don't think I currently sell anything in steel gray. Do you have a specific wheel in mind? The MC shown above is an 18" wheel.

Thanks Dan. BTW, what would you say the best Rota color match would be to the silver roof on my 2006? I'm assuming plain silver?

Yes, regular silver will be your closest match to the silver roof color.

Dan, do you think some rota grid 17" x 9" would fit a 09 MCS without problems or would I have to "make them fit"?
