Hi Don,

Try our Rota RB wheel gallery thread. If there's not a Pepper White one there yet, there probably will be eventually. Or you could photo-edit an existing picture...

Hi everyone, just bought my first MINI on Saturday, a black 2011 Clubman S. Found these forums which led me to Dan's site and purchased flat black Rota RB wheels today to replace the factory 16's. Quick question, does anyone know if I can use the factory MINI center caps on the new wheels, and if not, where I can get a set that will fit?

Again, thanks again everyone. This thread and posted pictures really made purchasing the wheels an easy decision. Looking forward to chatting in the future...

-Anthony

Thanks bro, I had no idea that Helix even existed. I was looking for somewhere that knew Minis and I could possibly trust to do work on the car. It's funny bc I live 5 minutes away from the shop. I'm going to try to stop over or call this week to set up a cold-air intake.

I assume you're happy with their work?

The stock center caps will not fit. Your new wheels do come with center caps, with an "R" logo on them. The R logo can be peeled off and replaced by a vinyl decal, if you like. You can get a local vinyl shop to make them for you, or call us and we can refer you.

We can't offer custom "MINI" logo decals for copyright reasons.

Hi JPMM,

We don't ship mounted wheels and tires. (Sorry.) What we suggest is to order your wheels from us, then get your tires either from Tire Rack or a local shop, and have them mounted locally. We can probably find you a good installer if you don't have a trusted place to mount them.

Why do these ebay advertized Rotas have a different looking sport bronze finish?

I did , he said it was because the sizes were different that wheel finishes were different.

I thought that another opinion from someone knowledgable of the brand could offer an insight, such as;funny photo, old photo, new batch, custom refinish ?

Would you do a 17x8 on the rear and 17x7.5 on the front if you were doing 17's? Will that combo fit and still put the wheels in the right balance between front and back? I don't want the tires coming to the edge of the fender lip on the back with a large space in the front. What tire sizes would you do front and back for that combo?

I really don't like running different size wheels front to back on this car. It makes it impractical to rotate the tires, for one thing. For another, if you run a fatter rear tire in the back, the car will tend to understeer even more. I'd run the same tire and wheel size all around. If you want to adjust how far out the wheels are, use wheel spacers as needed.

Do you offer these wheels anymore? Do you have a picture showing how much the spokes are above/below the edge of the rim? Thanks.

We do; it's called Tarmac 3. But as you can see, that wheel pictured is a 5-lug wheel. That wheel is not available in 4x100.

What size of MCwheels/tires are on the BRG Clubman on your site? Also, is that Clubman lowered? If so, how much? I'm interested in purchasing these wheels for mine...just need a little more info.

Thanks!

Nothing in stock, but I can get some. These are Rota Spec R, 16 x 7". I can get those in about a week.

(The actual wheel would be 4-lug, and would be a cream white -- like an Acura Integra Type R.)
