Kosei Wheels for Track?

I'm looking for a set of track wheels for my 07 MCS JCW with metal stems.

I saw the Kosei K-1 TS on Tire Rack. They are priced right and I like the idea of BRIGHT ORANGE wheels on my AB/AB for the track.

Anyone have any other suggestions or comments about these wheels or possibly another option?

They're light and plenty of people use them for track use, therefor I'd suspect they are strong enough and will hold up. (I love my Koseis, the regular K1.) I also love really bright colors (garish, even) for track wheels. I say DO EET.

EDIT: And yes, you need to get that color for an AB/AB car!

Will the 15x7 K1 Racing wheels clear the JCW brakes?

Yes--it's the setup I use at the track. You'll need hubcentric rings to fit the wheel on the hub, but no spacers are required for the brakes.

You must me the tire/wheel specialist. I have been tracking my 02 MCS with a pulley, 19mm sway bar, stainless steel lines but that is it. Been running azeni's on my stock16wheels. My instructors have suggested going to rcompounds what size wheel 7 tire compound do you suggest. Most of my driving is at VIR. I don't care much about how anything would affect AX. Thanks for your input

Those will fit on the R56?

I'm thinking about upgrading to larger brakes, too.

The only 17's still made are 5-120 - There aren't any 16's that are still produced 4-100

These will. Just have to pass a drill throuh the lug holes make them a tad bigger for the 56.
