Had my wheels delivered last week via UPS from the US but the centercaps were not in any of the boxes. I spoke to the vendors, RavSpec, who were adamant that the centercaps were placed in one of the boxes but they weren't there at my end (UK).
Now, here's the dilemma. I don't know whether or not the centercaps are originally included in the cost of the wheels as they are listed on 5zigen's website as 'extra', so I told RavSpec that I'd be happy to pay for a set to be shipped out to me. I've now been informed that the centercaps + shipping will cost me $110 this is much more than I expected and feel that it's a bit unfair to incur this cost if the centercaps were originally included but not shipped.
Not sure, I didn't check the packing list which is now long-gone in the refuse. If centercaps don't usually come with tuner wheels then that's fine, I'll have to stump up.
yah, and if it makes you feel any better, typically higher-end wheel's
centercaps can run $80 + shipping....so your price is high but still
not stupid high(?).

To make you feel even better, I think the caps on my Volks were $150ish plus shipping
My Team Dynamics came with really cheesy center caps, which I promptly covered with OEM MINI centercaps that I got from Bavarian Autosport for like $1.50 each(!).
They look so much nicer than the ones from Team Dynamics.
If I was told they were NOT included I'd be more than happy to pay, but the fact I have been told they were included in the packages but not when I received them has left me very confused
I was told they may have been left out at 'customs inspection' - if that is at RavSpec's place then I'd assume they are still there? If so, charging me $110 for the centrecaps is bad form
no, customs is NOT at RavSpec's place. If they were in the box at shipping and not at arrival, they could have been removed at US Customs or at UK Customs. Definitely, have RavSpec file a claim on your behalf - this is why UPS charges and arm and a leg for 'handling' customs for you...the import duties are but 15-20% of what they charge.
Ok, thanks PGT, I stand corrected. I'll contact RavSpec and see what they can do. Apart from the issue with centercaps, everything went swimmingly with RavSpec.
