As I said in my PM back to you - I like them for street tires and they make good 'wet' tires for the track or AX. But, I do miss the RS-2's for dry grip.
Wear so far is about the same as with the RS-2's, so I'll likely be going back to them unless there are other solid choices in our 225/45R16 size that we run...

I ran them 215/40/ZR17....they were awesome....excellent in the wet too....BUT...when they finally got low tread, they got really noisy and lost their grip really fast....I think I got 40,000ish kilometres out of them......they are a relatively soft compound....
(only tracked them once.....very good...)

I agree, the Toyo is a good everyday runner (not snow!!!), I liked them, had 'em on for one year. Try other tires, the Dunlop's, Michelin's are all good. Play around with them and see what you like. I have an older set of Bridgestones that were on a 2004 Miata, low side wall, they are a lot of fun! However, If your racing or autox' nothing beats the Hoosier! Their DOT rain tire can't be beat! I watched a guy in the rain, a few years ago at Mid-Ohio, in practice for the runoffs smokin a Viper on Toyo rains. It was ridiculous!
