215/45 on a 17x7.5 +45 wheel... no rubbing?

car is a 2004 MCS on stock sports suspension plus + Eibach Lowering springs. should i just go ahead with the 215/45? or go 215/40? 205/45 is also an option but there are very limited brands with this size

shouldn't be a problem, i ran exactly the same combination before with rota subzeros 17x7.5, 215/45-17, eibach springs, no issues

Would this be the same for and R56?? I plan on buying 17's and 215/45 and eventually getting the lowering springs as well.

R56 has more suspension clearance, so yes, it should be. Wheel offset is key, if the offset is too little (Et38 or so) then the outside edge of the tire will be rubbing on the fender trim.

Mach V springs don't lower the car enough for wheel clearance to be an issue.

215/45 will ride higher than 205/45 correct?

kyriian, got a pic of your Mini with your old setup? so i can have an idea of the gap between the tire and flares and how high the Mini will be from the ground
