Speedy Wheels - Any Good?

I did a search and couldn't find any good info. Lifetime structual warranty and 5 year finish warranty.

I'm looking at the 17" Race Mode (matte black) but it appears that it may be an older model wheel.

Anyone have any first-hand experience with this manufacturer?

I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger so you won't have to deal with all of my questions much longer.

I am looking into Speedy wheels as well. Here is another thread with at least one review:

OK, I caved in and ordered these. I'll let you know what they're like once I get them on.

So, I placed my order with Wheelfire.com on saturday. They called yesterday and said they were out of the Lite-7s but they had the Lite-9s. So I cahnged my order to the lite9s:

Less grooves that should make cleaning easier; more spokes though. They have a blue line on the edge which should be OK with my blue MINI. Guy said they should be here next week.

Those look great.

I guess I should have posted, but I ended up going with Konig Feathers (in black). 17x7 from Tire Kingdom for $100 each (including the 14mm bolt hole special order).

Yep, that's them. Walked into my local store on South Blvd. in Charlotte and started asking about wheels. I mentioned Konig, so we went to their site and I found the Feathers in Black. He (Kevin Tarlton - the store manager and a really nice guy) called his wholesaler to get delivery and a price.

Downside was 5 week delivery, upside was $100 each to me in 17x7 w/ 40 mm offset. I called back a couple of days later and explained I needed 14mm holes. He again called his rep and was told they were aware of the problem for new MINIs and could special order the 14mm holes w/ no extra charge or delivery time.

Speedy Lite-9

Finally got the Speedy wheels on.

The wheels were $130 each with the wheel+tire combo from Wheelfire.com. Tires are Falken 912s.

As posted above, the wheels have a lifetime structural warranty and a 5 year warranty on the finish.

The weight of the 16" OEM v-spokes+runflats = 40 lbs, while the 17" Speedy+Flaken tires = 43 lbs.

Those look great! As you can see from my sig., I cancelled the Konigs and went w/ JCW's. Good job on the Speedy's though. The white looks great on your car. And, they're a nice change from the factory while S-Lites.
