Brake Pads and Rotors

Where is a good place to pick up some new pads and rotors? I don't want anything fancy. Just stock.
Thanks,
John

Any of the listed vendors would be fine, just see the directory.
https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/vendor.php

Most do sell stock pads and rotors for your older MINI.

Your dealership as well has rotors and stock OEM pads but the pads will dust a bit more.

Hawk pads are a nice upgrade from stock pads.

Basic rotors work fine, some lack a finished surface and can rust quickly.
Mostly a cosmetic problem.

It's usually good to upgrade brake fluid when you change rotors and pads.
This can raise the temperature the fluid boils at to help reduce brake fade with repeated high speed stops.

If you like OEM brake dust then any pad at NAPA or the dealer will work. If you want to limit the dust, improve braking power and get more miles out of your pads and rotors, any rotor, then run the Carbotech Bobcat pads on a good NAPA rotor. Just my 2 cents.

I concur with autox. Try the Carbotech's. Hey Minihune- was it hard getting the car to Topeka for the Solo Championships? What freighter line did you use across the pacific? Thats a long way to go.
