Cloud9, I'm waiting to see if he can honor more sets at that price.
Mowse, what's with the rudeness? I have absolutely no need nor any desire for the S version. I chose my car because that's what I wanted. You sound like some of the snobs on the Land Rover forums I belong to that think everyone that doesn't have a Range Rover is inferior to those that do.
Just how old are you?

70s pop I was not referring to you as...
your comment was funny, as was the original intent of mine comment/opinion. JCW wheels seem to me at home on a JCW car or at least an S. They say "performance", not 118 HP. It seems to me people offer their opinions on a daily basis here on NAM. I think somebody is a little touchy. As for Mr. powder blue car, your obscene little charachter resulted in my second comment. Your subsequent comments leave the impression that you are the ill mannered one here. Don't throw down the gauntlet and then whine when you get called out.I just purchased my fourth Mini(a real JCW). I hardly think they are girls cars. Even the MC is a fine car. You seem a bit insecure. But powder blue is almost as effeminate as pink. Unfortunately, that color is not offered at this time. Perhaps you will get lucky in the future. I think a lavender "Mini One" might suit you. With 18" wheels and the JCW spoiler.

I still think the "girls car" comment is uncalled for, but if you and OXYBLUE have a previously established bicker-fest going, then carry on as you were.

Ok, you already have the Konigs on order, but you want to order a set of JCWs? Those overpriced, overweight pigs of wheels?
The lugs ARE black, but if you still want "tuner" lugs, PaloUber has a nice set ( http://1346843.estore.networksolutio...tail.bok?no=58 ). A bit pricy, but they're the only ones in black. As for the Konig's lug holes not being big enough, go to Lowe's and get whats called a step-bit for a drill ( http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...4SM&lpage=none ). That'll let you shave a few millimeters and the lugs will fit great. I had to do this for my set of Konigs. Just remember to drill from both sides, not one side all the way through.

The Konigs had only been on order for about a week, so cancelling them wasn't a problem. I've loved the JCW wheels ever since I first saw them, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I know they're not great performance wheels, but I'm willing to sacrifice some for what I really want.
L8APEX, you live near the mtns of NC? I could swear that several years ago I saw a Miata or something similar with that plate because I commented on it to my Uncle (who used to race) that was visiting from England. We were on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Blowing Rock.
