Will these fit an 07 r56?
I'm thinking about buying these rims, but i'm unsure if they will fit. Anyone familiar with these? i cant find any info as to weight.
I'd like to get something better but i'm on a budget, and in the process of moving.

I would also get ASA AR1s, i already have some pirelli 205/50/17s from my old cobalt that i could use, but im not sure if i want to deal with 17's again.
I'm driving a cooper s loaner with 16" and they feel real nice, my cooper has 15s

Also worth looking at-
Rota wheels in 16x7 at http://www.fastmini.net/wheels.html
Team Dynamics wheels at http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-cooper-accessories/7-wheels-misc/
But they are not as cheap.
205/50-17 are too tall for the MINI.
16" wheels would take 205/50-16
15" wheels would take 205/55-15

Yes, but only if you use stock suspension and tires that are no larger than 24.4" tire diameter.
205/50-17 is too large to fit well- you will be risk for rubbing in the rear over bumps and with rear passengers or heavy loads.
If you ever lower your car you will need small tire diameter sizes due to the +38mm offset. Such as 215/40-17 or 205/40-17- but that would be for later.
For now use stock tire sizes like 205/45-17.

195/55-16 is the standard runflat size if you want runflats, not as many non runflats.
205/50-16 is a good non runflat size and will fit fine. There is a good selection of tires. This size is a good street tire, fairly good handling and comfortable.
