Thanks, just joined up and am waiting for the activation email. Also PGT thought you might be interested to know this. One of the 'different' vendors, nyxracing, that have a lower price listed for the wheel appears to be vividracing in disguise. When I called their number as they tell you to do for 'best pricing' it actually sent me to VividRacing's mailbox. Unbelieveable.
Wow, yeah I'll be avoiding them then. Still, they're the cheapest I've found so nothing stopping me using them for bargain fodder. Thanks again, these guys over at the Scooby forum aren't exactly the quickest for sending out activation emails are they?

there's a reason for that. some srt4 punks raided the forum late night Thurs upset with World One (a reputable vendor who sells Advans by the way) and the owner unleashed a retaliation of sorts on Fri. All new members are manually approved for this weekend to prevent more nonsense
nope not even forged. but, from what i understand, not all casting processes are created equal. advan is supposed to be high quality stuff and lightweight, too for cast wheels. perhaps someone else can explain in more detail.
I'm not sure how much, but I'm in Canada and I find that wheels in the U.S. are cheaper anyway.
Here's the link, http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread/t-100632.html
I still think the Advan's look a bit like Konig Feathers (but albiet a bit nicer). You won't get that nice dished look with a FWD.
Cheers!
In terms of quality though HOW much better can a cast wheel be over a cast wheel. The Konigs seem light but I can't find any weights on the Advans. I'm thinking in day to day motoring (somewhat spirited) any of these two would hold up pretty good.
Garage Spec is having a special for NASIOC members, 10% discount.
So the MSRP for the 18x7.5 hyper silver is $595.00. So, with 10% off its $535.50 per wheel. Shipping to my location around Washington, DC is $30/wheel. So grand total is $2262. Lead time is 6-8 weeks.
I am currently seeking clarification on: 1) does that include tax 2) does that include caps 3) does that include centering ring.
Just checked my PM's over at the Scooby forum, silly me I thought I'd get an email when I received a private message. Anyway i got the same email and price quote as you did PlayPlay. I have an idea, how about we guarantee them an order of two sets if they can do it for a total of 4K shipped? That would be a proper bargain.
