how to paint the webspokes

Whats up! I'm going to paint my webbies flat black, or maybe a dark silver...

I saw somebody had done this before but i cant seem to find the thread...
Anybody have any tips on this? Do's Dont's??

PS the ones i saw looks great. They were on the black MCS.....
the screen name is right on the tip of my tongue but i just cant remember.

That sounds like what I want to do. need to darken them somehow. Hope this thread pans out...
