Quick wheel change
Hello,
I've been searching on google, and on nam for something.
It looks like a wheel stud to change out our wheels faster.
I forgot what those bolts were called.
I saw it on a thread about 3 months ago, and people were using it so that they don't have to go through the hassle of trying to find the whole while they stick the bolt into the wheel.
Please help!

stud conversion. check out piloracing.com or outmotoring.com. you get what you pay for...my rec is 'racing' studs from pilo and McGard Splinedrive from summitracing.com. About $120 for everything but the cheaper kits don't last if you are actually swapping wheels often (my normal stud from Pilo stripped after a few months)

The wheel hanger looks like it would be helpful. Anyone know of one available for the R56's 14mm x 1.25mm pitch. It seems that this is a rare thread. Porsche and others use a 1.5mm pitch on their 14mm bolts which is the standard fine pitch for M14 threads. BMW may have gone for 1.25mm because finer threads are stronger, and Porsche uses five lugs, rather than four.
