Red Brakes
Hey so I just got new wheels that could potentially show off the brakes. Although I have the stock brakes on the car. Any recommendations for painting the brakes or getting new brakes. I am a college student so lets just say I don't exactly have a gazillion dollars. Any ideas would be great.

For painting either G2 http://www.g2usa.com/ or Dupli-Color http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliper.html will do the job for you.

Still holding up well after a year. Some small chips I touch up with nail polish.

I wont paint my 2004 calipers as I dont want to bring attention to my puny brakes behind my 18" OZ's. I'll wait until I have a bigger brakes up front at least. Seems like a cheap BBK alternative is to pick up R56 OEM brakes that an R56 owner has taken off to get even bigger brakes. Apparently the R56 brakes are same as the R53 JCW without the red paint, that you can easily add, and you need to get R56 brake lines too, to make the switch.
