Raybestos rotors?

How are these rotors? Rockauto.com sells them for about $37 each for the fronts and $28 each for the rears. Total for all 4 shipped would be $165. Last set of OEM rotors I think were almost that for just the front.

Thanks,
k

Raybestos; the first name in brakes. Sounds good to me...

Seriously, name company but most likely sharing the same imported parts as many other companies. Most of the parts are Centric produced and then marketed under many other 'box' names. I wouldn't hesitate on them but not expect anything special from them. A replacement is a replacement is a replacement. And why in the world do you need new rears??

Hrm... I just assumed I would need new rear rotors. They have a larger lip on them than the fronts. By no means large but bigger. There is only 18,000 miles on the front rotors which should actually be able to be reused but the rears I assume are probably originals with 57,000 miles...

Do the rear rotors just hang out back there and don't really need replacing much?

Hey Todd, I like the new Sig. and I agree, but why not just buy the local NAPA store replacements and save on the shipping? I put over 65K on my OEM Rears, before they "needed" replacement.

I will check out the local NAPA. What brands should I look for at NAPA? I guess as Todd says most OE replacements are re-branded and produced by the same manufacturer...?

After looking at NAPA site it still would probably be just a little cheaper to order from rockauto.com.

I see they have 3 but only see price for the high end unit, I'd call the local store and find out what the prices are on the others.
