New CT pads require rotor turning?
I just received new Carbotech XP10 front pads for track use and the included instructions say that I have to have the rotors turned if I'm using a used rotor and said rotors were not originally bedded with CT pads. Of course, in all of my pre-purchase research there was no word of having to do that. The existing rotors (JCW drilled/slotted) have 7k miles on them and about a half-dozen track days. I guess I had better comply, right? Thanks!

Not really, with less then 15K on stock rotors you will be fine, just do the bed in then let them cool down and then do the bed in again. Also do NOT set your E-brake after laps with ANY pads, it's the fast way to over heat a rotor. So why does CT and other manufactures say to do it, well it's just a CYA for them.
