R87s?

Anyone have these wheels? Only in 16" or is there a 17" available?

R87 are 16x5.5" smaller than the stock X-lytes and were an optional wheel for the R50 and R53 older MINIs. (edited for width of rim).

There is no other size that it comes in.
see

R87 double-spoke ET45 16.5lb Silver only

Pretty good weight considering the other MINI stock 16" wheels.

The R87 is actually 16x5.5 ... a narrower width because the wheel was intended for use with winter tires. Along with the 16x6.5 R94 (Bridge-spoke), it was approved for use with the 1st Gen JCW Brake Kit.

Since the brakes on the R56 MCS are the same size as 1st Gen JCW brakes, these wheels should fit that model.

Sorry for the error in width.

Interesting that the rim is more narrow but it could be something good for narrow tires and less rolling resistance to improve mpg for commuters.
Now the lower weight makes sense.

Maybe Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid (High Perf all season tires)
$91 each 460 treadwear.
