Replacing RunFlates with regular tires

Yes - "regular" tires will fit your "runflat-ready" rims. Note that many tire installers can NOT remove your runflats without damaging your rims, though - I recommend you find a shop that does performance tire & wheel work vs. the mass merchant tire shops.... at least to get the runflats off the first time - and tell them you have runflats and ask if they can remove them without damage - and tell them if they scratch your rims you expect them to be repaired or replaced. Voice of experience here...
Search the forums - as many recommendations on tires as there are MINI owners, it seams sometimes.
For Cincy, depends on whether you plan to run separate summer/winter tires (many entusiasts do) or just run all seasons year round. I'm a HUGE fan of the Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season - they perform very well year round but they aren't cheap.

Yes, no problems.
As stated, no problems here, first and best change I could have made to my 2006
Strangely the 2nd post rings a bit of a bell. I brought my car to a very good tire shop but there is a tiny mark on each wheel on the very outer edge. I figured it was where the roller first applied pressure to the wheel when removing the tyre and it was not bad so I just left it. Might be part of what is being stated here, that removing these very stiff sidewall tyres makes the rims quite vulnerable.
