Snow Chains on a MCS

Well, back east I guess you're expected to learn how to drive in the snow, or just stay home. Now that I've moved to Seattle, they're telling me I have to have snow chains for some mountain passes.

For the snowboarders/skiiers here on the west coast, what do you guys use?

can I get away with Spikes-Spiders? http://www.spikes-spiders.com/

I was planning on using my stock 16" S-Winders as my winter wheels, do I need to buy 15" wheels for the chains?

How do the TMPS, DSC, and run-flats complicate the situation?

I am on stock suspension. I think I'll stay that way as long as chains will be required for me to drive to the mountains.

thanks for your help, this is completely new to me.
