I saw the those, but does not tickle my fancy. Here is a pair of rims that are nice, and close to R90'S but the bolt pattern does not match up!!

There are many many sources including tirerack and edgeracing both sponsors on MCO

Also see http://www.aktiresusa.com/mini.htm
For the Manta in silver or hyperdark (shown) 17x7 19.5 pounds $500 for set of four

or pino 17x7 21.5 pounds $500 for set of four

If you want light then go with the Monza in 15 or 16" size, RandyBMC sells them

ADR M-Classic's 17" 7.5

The weight is 23 pounds, which is not to bad, but the offset is only 40! So it look like that rim is out.

I got my R90s slightly used. I'd say that's the way to go if you can do it. I typed what I wanted at Google, ordered them from this guy that was seeling them (in Wisconsin), finalized things over the phone, and got the R90s lickety split. Actually, I think the MINI R90s are really manufactured by BBS. If I remember correctly before installing them, the BBS name was embossed somewhere on the back of the wheel. I too absolutely love the R90s. I thought my performance increased after installing them, but everyone here would probably call me crazy. I highly recommend them. See what you can do to get them and good luck.

If your interested, I've been throwing around the idea of selling my r90's and getting some 18's just for a little variety. Let me know if your interested, I'm open to offers. Here's a pic of the setup.

::and yes my mini is on a golf course. it actually fit on the golf cart path, everyone got a kick out of that. Long story as to why my mini was on the 12 hole of a golf course, but I promise it was legal.::

>>i dont believe ur golf course story

Maybe this might help. Excuse the poor quality, I was running around with my digi cam taking snapshots in the midst of the shoot, a buddy of mine wanted to borrow the car AGAIN for a portfolio shot. Only reason I always let him borrow it is because I get a free detail out of it, and when I need transportation I get to have his 993 turbo for the day. Rough life, i know. Don't even ask how he got permision to shoot on a golf course, I'm still trying to figure that out. Enjoy.
