Tire suggestions for 17" Borbet LV4

Any suggestions what size tires I should go with for 17" Borbet LV4 wheels? They have a 38mm offset and I'm trying to decide between 205/45-17, 215/45-17, 215/40-17. I'm looking at the Bridgestone RE-01R or Dunlop Star Spec, but I'm not sure what is going to fit in the sizes they are available in.

I plan on doing the occasional autocross and driver's school event next year and will eventually work more on my car only up to STX rules. I'm currently on the stock sport suspension but will do a mild lowering with either TSW springs or coilovers in the next year. My commute to work each day is only 4 miles so I'm not too concerned with treadlife for daily driving.

I have my stock 17" wheels and all season Continental run-flat tires for winter. I got my car in March of this year, so I'm not sure yet how well they are going to do in the snow.

If you plan on lowering the Mini more, I would go with 215/40R17. It will give you better clearance.

im running +38 on my BBS CV's with 205/45/17 Dunlop SportMax.
it's a tight fit.

between those tires, i would run 205/45/17 at that offset.

Yeah, I've been doing a little searching and it appears 215/45-17 is going to be too big. So I'm trying to decide between 205/45-17 RE-01R's or 215/40-17 Star Spec's.

Reo1R is a very good tire. I would get those because they run wide anyway.

Well you have 2 worthy contenders mensioned.

The RE01R is my long standing benchmark - love the way it modulates!

I was however blown away by the Z1 star spec, in our most recent test.
