for the thumbnail inept...
are those the Exel TZ-10 from WheelMax? If so, did they provide the correct hub-rings? What tires did you put on there, and also, do you know the weight of the wheels? Thanks!

yup, that would be me... how did you make the pics bigger?! Yes, they are TZ-10's from Wheels Max and I got the correct hub rings. Don't know the weight but my guess is about half what my stock Run light 17's. Same Pirelli Run Flats that came with the car.

>>"how did you make the pics bigger?!"<<

I'm magical! You just have to erase the "thumb." in the url for the pics, that's all.

I'm transfixed on how these wheels look. Can you be a sport and post a shot of the car from the front or back, offset so I can see the profile of the wheels?

Also, do you happen to know the offset?
Thanks In Advance,
Ryan

here you go...

offset is 42 mm, I think... but to be sure just call WheelMax on their toll free number and enter extension 1028 "Leo" -- he knows Mini's!

Wow. They look great! So many to choose from. I wonder which tires they are willing to put on in their packages for those prices? It doen't look as if they have any snows though.

Thank you Redleg for posting the side views, I simply MUST have these wheels I think they'll look equally kickin' on my upcoming Indi Blue/White MCS.

a 17x7" ET42 is about perfect fitmet too! [drools even more]

Well, I couldn't resist. I put my order in to WheelMax for these hotties. Their customer service is a bit flaky, and they're a bit slow for delivery, but other than that the purchasing experience was Grade A.

After receiving them today, I tore open the well-packaged wheels and weighed them all. I was shocked; they're all 16.5 pounds! My jaw hit the floor how light they are!
By the way, I'm taking offers on my zero-miles White S-lites with Pirelli's
Cheers,
Ryan

Hello,

What are those tires? Can I get good street/race tires, like Kuhmo or Nitto, with those wheels?

They are sweet looking... Mmm....

thanks,

kazu.

Redleg13's tires are Pirelli Euphori@'s, a 205/45-17, which are the performance run-flat you get with the Cooper S Sport package. As with what tires you can get with the wheels, in terms of packages, you'll have to get ahold of WheelMax, or you can do what Redleg and I are doing, and buy the wheels seperately and put whatever tires we want on the wheels.

hope this helps!

Sorry to ask so many questions, but I want to order similar 7 spoke exel wheel. The shop I am buying from is asking for the correct lug pattern; is it 4 x 100, 108 or 114.3??? I have a 2003 MC with no suspention mods (yet).

Thanks for your help,

Kazu.

4X100, and you'll need some hubcentric ring adapters for the 56.1mm MINI hub.

Hope that helps!

Real December or SSR December? Real December is soon- SSR… well it depends on customs. Just kidding, the Comp Rs were worth the wait; the extra weight might have moved me from 25th of 30 to 24th, but probably not. I may have to get the GT7s and ditch the TE-37 idea.
