Offset - PLEASE HELP!

I found some guy selling some extremely rare 3 piece BBS wheels that are 16x7 4x100 but with an offset of et25. Does anyone know if these wheels will fit an 08 MCS? He states it will fit on BMW, VW

Thanks
Jeff

I'm gonna guess you found a set of RS003's?

Unfortunately the offset is a bit too low for such a skinny wheel. et25 will poke a bit and you can't really stretch tires on a 16x7.

I run 16" RS's but my offset is mid 30's

Here ya go. This is my BBS RS 16x7 et 33 (or 35....BBS list is a bit shady on this model RS). As you can see it's right at the fender and I have a bit of negative camber dialed in too. The et25 would poke a decent amount more and you might risk rubbing. You could probably make it work if you're familiar with working with aggressive fitments.

I love that setup on the clubman? If the offset is at 45 would they still have that lip like yours? Also do you know where i can find a set of those in the same setup as yours?

No they'll have probably half an inch less lip. Keep in mind that my rears are 8" wide which plays a part in the wider lip.

I'm not sure where you can find the setup. I know mine came off an old Mazda rx7. They were the OEM wheels.

I found a set of Konig remembers in 16x7 at a 35 offset but i wanted to do 16x7 and 16x8 like yours. Plus Konig does not make them anymore so i don't know if they had them in 16x8. Do you know if they do?

The Konig Remembers are replicas of my wheels. I don't believe they ever made them in 8 inch. The konigs are also one piece, not 3 piece like the BBS's...so there's no option to change out for larger lips like one would on the RS's.

205/40/16....probably shouldn't be used on most MINI's. My custom suspension just allows me to raise it enough to drive, and lower it enough to pull off such a small tire. It's substantially smaller than stock so they will lower the car and increase wheel gap.
