Civic 15" as a winter set

I saw a bunch of threads that say that a 15" wheel of a civic will work as a spare. I found a set of almost unused steel 2002 civic 15" wheels.
I was wondering if I can use them as my winter set on my 07 MCS R56.

I want to get some winter tires, but will these 15" wheels clear the brakes, and be otherwise suitable.

Thanks

not really sure about those civics, but considering the stock 07 brakes use the first gen jcw bbk and only a few stock 16's can fit over them im guessing those 15's won't work

Can you testfit one? I'd make sure they will take the 14mm hardware, and the Civic's are 12mm. Aslo make sure to turn lock to lock on the front, and observe all suspension clearances. We had an issue with our civic wheel when we testfit, thats why we offered a Mini specific wheel.
